This page covers the game directory and shared play counters at gameslop.now and brainrotgame.shop. The portal does not require an account. Individual games can have different save, room and multiplayer features; this page does not describe every game's data handling.

Shared play counts

When you open a game from the portal, we record the selected game and the time of the click. These records support shared lifetime totals and the Trending ranking for the last seven days.

Our play-count records do not include your IP address, browser user-agent, email address, a cookie or a visitor identifier. Counts measure game launches from the portal, not unique people or completed game sessions. The page also requests current totals and update dates so the rankings stay current. These limits describe our play counters; Google's advertising services are separate and are described below.

Browser preferences

The portal stores your chosen sort order in your browser's session storage for the current tab. This preference is not sent to our server. We do not use a separate audience-analytics script on the portal.

Retention and hosting

Click records older than eight days are eligible for cleanup. Cleanup is not a guaranteed eight-day deletion deadline, and older records may remain in backups. Aggregate play totals and periodic copies of those totals are retained.

Like other websites, our hosting and network providers receive connection and request information needed to deliver pages, including IP addresses and request headers. This information and backups are separate from the play-count records described above.

Google advertising

The gameslop.now homepage is configured for two sidebar advertisements through Google AdSense on wide desktop screens with a mouse or similar pointing device. Whether ads appear depends on Google's site review, available ads and your privacy choices. The advertising setup does not start on narrow or mobile layouts, and the sidebars are hidden if you make the window narrower. This setup is not included on brainrotgame.shop, this privacy page, the About page or individual game websites.

When the advertising setup runs, it loads Google's advertising and privacy-message services. Google and its advertising partners may collect or receive information such as your IP address, browser and device information, identifiers, ad interactions, cookies and information in local storage. They use this information to select and deliver ads, measure advertising, limit repeated ads, and detect fraud and abuse.

Depending on your consent and other applicable choices, Google and its partners may use advertising cookies and identifiers to personalize ads based on earlier visits to this website or other websites. Ads that are not personalized can still involve cookies or other storage for functions such as reporting and fraud prevention. The available ad-serving mode depends on your choices and Google's settings.

Your advertising privacy choices

Where applicable, Google's privacy message lets you consent, decline or manage your advertising choices. When these services are active on the gameslop.now homepage, look near the bottom of the page for Google's privacy and cookie settings link to review your European consent choice, or its Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link for supported US states. The controls shown depend on your location and the applicable message.

You can also manage Google's personalized advertising in My Ad Center and find participating companies' browser-based advertising opt-outs through YourAdChoices. These tools have their own scope and do not replace the choices in a site's privacy message. Your browser can also block or clear cookies and site storage; clearing storage may remove saved preferences and cause a consent message to appear again.

When you open a game

Game links take you to the selected game's website. A game may store progress in your browser or use a server to manage rooms and multiplayer sessions. Check that game's information and controls for its specific behavior. Clearing the portal's sort preference does not delete a game's saved progress.
